Independent Consulting for Oman Businesses

I work remotely with Omani businesses in trading, logistics, manufacturing, construction and services that are replacing spreadsheets, entry-level accounting tools or legacy systems. Many supply larger projects and need tighter control of stock, costs and receivables. I do not keep an office there; you work with me directly through online workshops and regular reviews.

I help with business analysis and requirements, independent comparison of Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext and Microsoft Dynamics 365, implementation oversight and optimization. For growth, I plan SEO for English and Arabic-speaking audiences, AI search visibility, paid campaigns and B2B lead generation, with leads tracked into your CRM so results are measured in real inquiries.

VAT and e-invoicing

VAT is administered by the Oman Tax Authority, and an e-invoicing framework is being introduced. Ask vendors how they will support it, and keep invoice and customer data clean so the transition is manageable.

The three-decimal rial

The Omani rial is divided into 1,000 baisa, so prices, rounding, bank files and reports must handle three decimal places correctly across every module and integration.

Arabic and English documents

Arabic and English documents are common, particularly for government-linked buyers and larger projects. Print templates, product names and customer records should support both languages from the start.

Working week and time

Oman runs on Gulf Standard Time with a Sunday to Thursday working week. I schedule live sessions within those days and keep work moving through shared trackers and recorded walkthroughs in between.

Yes. Site and warehouse staff can join short focused sessions by phone or laptop, and share recordings of how goods receipts, issues and deliveries are handled today. Training is delivered in small role-based sessions, recorded so new staff can use them later.

No. VAT treatment is a matter for your tax advisor. I translate their guidance into system requirements, set up or review tax codes and invoice templates, and test realistic scenarios before go-live so your returns are based on consistent data.

Yes. I look at how buyers in Oman and the wider Gulf search for your products and services, improve your website's technical health and content, and plan campaigns for the right decision-makers. Inquiries are tracked into your CRM so you can see what produces business.
