Paid search planned around where you can deliver

What should a US company expect from a Google Ads consultant?

A Google Ads consultant for a US business decides which states, metro areas and buyer searches deserve spend, then builds Search campaigns, negative keyword lists and landing pages around them. I work remotely and independently, connect conversion tracking to qualified stages in your CRM through offline conversion import, raise privacy and ad policy questions with your counsel, and report on pipeline rather than clicks.

A national US account can quietly behave like many separate markets sharing one budget. Buyers in Texas, Ohio and California phrase the same need differently, competition varies by metro, and a campaign left on broad settings spends wherever the auction is cheapest rather than where your team can actually serve. I work remotely with US companies as an independent Google Ads consultant, and I start with your delivery map and your buyers before touching bids.

With that map agreed, I set up and run Search campaigns, judge whether Performance Max earns a place, keep search terms clean, align landing pages with each ad and connect conversions to the qualified stages in your CRM. Calls matter as much as forms for many US service firms, so both are tracked to outcomes.

The account stays in your company's name, billed to your own payment method. I take no media commissions and no vendor referral fees, and my recommendations are not tied to any ad platform or software seller. You see every change I make in the account history.

What I Do

Google Ads work for US companies

Built around the states you serve, the language your buyers search in and the revenue your CRM records.

Geographic Account Design

Campaigns split by the states, metro areas or radiuses you genuinely serve, with location options set to people physically there rather than anyone showing interest, so spend follows your licensing and delivery footprint.

English and Spanish Search

Separate campaigns for Spanish-language and mixed English and Spanish searches where your buyers use them, with ad text and landing pages drafted or reviewed by fluent Spanish speakers you trust in-house or through a translation partner.

Search Terms and Negatives

Weekly reading of what people actually typed, with shared exclusion lists for job seekers, salary questions, do-it-yourself research, free tools and states you cannot serve.

Calls and Forms to Revenue

Call assets, website call tracking and form capture recorded against the lead in your CRM, so a phone inquiry from a paid click is judged on the deal it became.

Performance Max Review

A deliberate decision on whether Performance Max helps, based on your conversion signal and product feed, with brand exclusions and a side-by-side view against Search before budget moves.

Pipeline Reporting

A monthly view that pairs platform metrics with qualified leads, opportunities and won revenue by campaign and state, plus a short note on what changed and what I will try next.

Targeting states, metros and service areas without leaking spend

Location targeting is where many US accounts lose money first. Google Ads lets you reach people located in an area, or people who have shown interest in it, and the default often includes the second group. For a contractor in Arizona or a clinic group in Florida, that can mean paying for clicks from people several states away who will never become customers.

I set location options to match how you deliver. If you hold licenses only in certain states, as many insurance, legal, home service and construction firms do, campaigns are restricted to those states and the rest are excluded. If a sales team covers metro areas rather than whole states, campaigns are built around those metros so budgets and messages can differ between, say, Dallas and Houston.

Time zones need attention too. An account runs on a single time zone, so an ad schedule set for business hours on the East Coast will switch ads off while West Coast offices are still taking calls. Where call handling matters, I schedule by region or keep ads running and route calls properly instead.

Location bid adjustments come later, once each state or metro has enough history to show a real difference in qualified leads. Adjusting on a handful of clicks usually moves money based on noise. For organic visibility across the same states, my US SEO consulting page covers the other half of search.

Spanish and mixed-language searches in the US market

A meaningful share of US buyers search in Spanish, or mix English and Spanish in the same query, particularly for home services, healthcare, legal help, insurance and some trades. Some B2B categories see it too, for example where the person researching a purchase is an operations lead rather than a head-office buyer.

Google judges a user's language from several signals, so I do not rely on language settings alone. Spanish campaigns get their own keyword lists, including common mixed phrasing, their own ad text and a landing page in Spanish. Sending a Spanish query to an English page wastes the click and confuses the bidding.

The engagement runs in English. Spanish headlines, descriptions and landing page text come from fluent writers in your company or a translation partner you choose, so wording sounds natural for your audience rather than translated.

Before launching, I ask a practical question: can your team answer a Spanish phone call or form within a reasonable time? If not, the campaign will generate frustration rather than customers. In that case the better first step is fixing follow-up, which links directly to CRM consulting and routing rules, before paying for clicks in a second language.

Search first, Performance Max only with a reliable signal

For most US B2B and service companies, Search is the foundation. You choose the queries, see what people actually typed and control the message. I group keywords by service and intent, use match types deliberately and keep brand terms in a separate campaign so they do not flatter the results of everything else.

Negative keywords carry a lot of weight in a large market. US search volume brings plenty of irrelevant traffic: people looking for jobs, salaries, licensing courses, free templates, do-it-yourself guides or a competitor's login page. I review search terms weekly and maintain shared exclusion lists, which is routine work but protects every campaign at once.

Performance Max can find demand across Google's inventory that keyword lists miss, and it can work well for ecommerce companies with a clean product feed. It also reports less detail and will chase whatever conversion is easiest. I avoid it when the only signal is a raw form fill, when brand searches would be absorbed into its results, or when budget is too thin to feed both campaign types. Once offline conversions are flowing, I test it against Search with brand exclusions in place and compare outcomes in the CRM, not only in the platform. More detail sits on my Google Ads management page.

Offline conversions, call tracking and state privacy laws

Bidding learns from the conversions you give it. If every form submission counts the same, Google cannot tell a procurement manager from a student. I capture the click identifier with each inquiry, store it on the lead in your CRM, then send back the stages that matter, such as qualified lead, opportunity and closed-won, through a native connector, scheduled upload or API.

Calls deserve the same treatment. Many US buyers of services pick up the phone, so call assets and website call tracking are connected to CRM records where possible. A call that becomes a signed job then counts for more than a call asking for directions.

Privacy rules shape how far tracking can go. California and a growing list of other states have comprehensive privacy laws that give residents rights such as opting out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal data. Health-related sites face extra scrutiny of tracking technologies, and some sectors carry their own rules. I review how tags, consent banners, consent mode settings and enhanced conversions behave on your site, and flag where the setup needs a decision. What your business must do is a question for your privacy counsel, and I configure tracking to match their advice.

Regulated categories, budget pacing, ownership and reporting

Google applies extra policies and advertiser verification to sectors such as healthcare, financial services, legal services, addiction treatment and some home services, and individual states add their own rules, for instance on attorney or insurance advertising. I check ad text and landing pages against Google's policies and flag anything that needs review by your compliance team or counsel, rather than treating a disapproval as something to work around.

Budget pacing is explained in plain terms. Google may spend above your daily budget on busy days and below it on quiet ones, balancing over the month. I watch pacing against your monthly intention, holiday seasons and sales capacity, so spend does not run out early or pile up when nobody can answer the phone.

Ownership is simple: the Google Ads account, Google Tag Manager container, analytics property and conversion history are registered to your company. My login is one you create, and revoking it takes a minute.

Reporting connects platform metrics to CRM outcomes: impression share on priority terms, cost per qualified lead, opportunities and won revenue by campaign and state. When Google Ads is one part of a wider pipeline plan, my B2B lead generation work in the US brings outbound, LinkedIn and nurturing into the same reporting. Contact me to arrange an account review.

Questions About Google Ads USA

Split only where it changes a decision. If budgets, services, licensing or messages differ between states or metros, separate campaigns give you control over each. If they do not, a single campaign with correct location settings and exclusions is easier to manage and gathers data faster. I decide this during the audit, based on your delivery footprint.

It can be, when your buyers search in Spanish and your team can respond in Spanish by phone, chat or email. Without that follow-up, paid clicks rarely become customers. I build Spanish campaigns with their own keywords and landing pages, and the Spanish wording comes from fluent writers in your business or an agency you appoint.

They can. Several states give residents rights to opt out of targeted advertising or data sharing, and some sectors face stricter rules on tracking technologies. I review how your tags, consent tools and conversion uploads behave, then configure them to follow the position your privacy counsel sets. I do not give legal advice.

You do. The account, billing, tag manager container, analytics and conversion history sit under your company. My access is a user login you control, and the campaign structure, naming and tracking are written down so your team or another consultant can continue without starting again.

Yes. Some US companies want an independent audit and tracking rebuild, then let their agency or in-house marketer run daily management. Others want me to manage the account and report to leadership. Either way, I remain independent of ad platforms and software vendors, with no commissions involved.
