Google Ads Philippines

Paid search for phone-first buyers on every island and abroad

Why hire a Google Ads consultant for the Philippine market?

A Google Ads consultant for the Philippines designs campaigns for mobile searchers who move between English, Filipino and Taglish, across islands with very different reach and logistics. I structure keywords and negatives, target Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao deliberately, reach overseas audiences where it fits, track calls, chats and forms, and import CRM stages so bidding favors real inquiries. Remote delivery, with the account in your name.

In the Philippines, a Google Ads click almost always happens on a phone, frequently on prepaid data, and the next step is more likely a call or a chat than a long form. Buyers switch between English, Filipino and Taglish without thinking about it. Some of your best prospects may not even be in the country: Filipinos working abroad buying property at home, or overseas companies looking for an outsourcing partner.

I set up and manage Google Ads around those patterns, then tie every paid visit to whatever sale it eventually becomes, so spend can be defended line by line. Everything is handled remotely and without vendor ties. Our working sessions are in English, while Filipino or regional-language copy is supplied by your own people or a Philippine partner.

What I Do

Paid search support built for Philippine buyers

Every service supports one aim: paid traffic that becomes conversations your sales team can close.

Account Health Check

I review structure, location and language settings, search terms, conversion actions, assets and landing pages on a phone, then list fixes in order of wasted spend and lost signal.

Taglish Keyword Strategy

Keyword lists built from real searches in English, Filipino and the mix between them, with ad copy that sounds like your buyers, reviewed by fluent people on your side.

Island and Overseas Targeting

Campaigns split by area where coverage, delivery or competition differ, plus separate campaigns for overseas Filipinos or foreign buyers when your offer serves them.

Mobile Conversion Paths

Call assets, lead form assets, chat buttons and short forms arranged for a thumb on a small screen, each tracked as its own conversion with clear priority.

Performance Max Review

A decision on whether Performance Max helps your goals, with your brand names excluded and lead value as the goal where it does, and a test against Search before it takes more budget.

CRM-Linked Bidding

Qualified, site visit, proposal and won stages imported from your CRM against the original click, so bids lean toward searches that become sales.

English, Filipino and Taglish in search ads

Philippine buyers move between English and Filipino constantly, and many commercial searches mix both: an English product or service name with Filipino words for price, location or urgency. Brand names, local shorthand and spelling variations add more variety. In the Visayas and Mindanao, some buyers also use Cebuano or other regional languages. A keyword plan copied from an American or Australian template misses most of this.

The research draws on what searchers actually typed before clicking your ads, Google's own forecasting tools, suggested searches and the phrases your chat agents copy into their notes. That evidence settles:

  • which queries are served by English ads and which respond better to Taglish or Filipino copy
  • which mixed-language phrases show buying intent and which show browsing, a major source of negatives
  • whether regional-language ad groups are justified for specific areas
  • whether to rely on language settings at all, since Google reads the user's language from browsing and query behavior too

Copy is where tone matters most. Formal English can feel distant to some audiences, while overly casual Taglish can undermine trust in professional or B2B services. Taglish and Filipino lines are best written by someone who speaks that way every day, among your employees or at a Manila agency. Variants then compete on how many sales-ready conversations each one starts.

Island targeting, overseas Filipinos and foreign buyers

Geography in the Philippines is shaped by water as much as distance. A distributor in Metro Manila may deliver easily across Luzon but slowly to Mindanao; a service business in Cebu may serve the Visayas but not Manila. Ads shown where you cannot deliver well waste money and frustrate buyers. I set location targeting around your real coverage:

  • campaigns or adjustments by region or city where competition, value or service cost differ
  • presence-based targeting so ads reach people physically in an area
  • separate treatment for growing cities outside Metro Manila when demand justifies it

Two cross-border audiences deserve their own campaigns. Real estate developers, schools, insurers and remittance-linked services often want to reach Filipinos working or living abroad, in the Middle East, North America, Asia and Europe. Those campaigns need country-specific targeting, schedules for the viewer's time zone and landing pages that explain how buying from abroad works.

Outsourcing and IT services firms based in the Philippines often advertise to buyers in the United States, Australia or the United Kingdom instead. That is a very different account: foreign keywords, foreign competitors, overseas working hours and landing pages written for a procurement manager who has never visited Manila. Each audience is kept separate, so results stay readable.

Calls, chats and phone-first landing pages

Most paid clicks in the Philippines happen on mobile, often on prepaid data and patchy connections. A long form is the least likely way a Filipino prospect will reach out. That changes both the ads and the pages behind them.

In the ads, call assets, lead form assets and links to chat can shorten the path for buyers who are ready. Each needs its own conversion action, since opening a dialer is not the same as speaking to sales. On landing pages I check:

  • that pages load quickly and stay light, with heavy video and sliders removed
  • that the headline and offer repeat the ad's language and promise
  • that call and chat buttons are obvious and tracked, and forms ask only for what sales needs
  • that prices, payment terms, service areas or delivery coverage are stated where buyers look for them
  • that trust signals relevant to local buyers, such as business registration details and real contact points, are easy to find

Chat inquiries need special handling. A click on a Messenger or Viber link only tells you someone opened a chat. To learn from real leads, the conversation must be logged in your CRM with its source, then qualified. Only then can the value of that chat flow back into Google Ads.

Performance Max is considered once this measurement is in place, with brand terms excluded and lead quality, not raw volume, as the test.

Offline conversions, the Data Privacy Act and regulated sectors

Counting every form, call and chat as equal teaches automated bidding to chase volume, including spam, wrong numbers and job seekers. So the account gets a ranked set of goals: bid-driving actions for serious contact, observation-only actions for lighter signals, and CRM milestones uploaded after the fact for stages such as qualified lead, site visit or proposal, and won deal. My CRM consulting in the Philippines covers how those stages and source fields should be designed.

Philippine privacy law, enforced by the National Privacy Commission, governs any collection of personal information. Because enhanced conversions and uploaded customer lists rely on scrambled contact details, the people who own privacy at your company should sign off on the notices and processing records first. I document what each feature sends, which makes that review practical.

Some categories carry extra rules. Google has country-specific requirements for advertising financial products, including lending, in the Philippines, and real estate, health and education advertising face their own local regulations, such as disclosures regulators expect to see in property ads. I build these constraints into the plan early, and your compliance advisor confirms what your business may say and show.

None of this is legal advice. The goal is a tracking setup clear enough for the people accountable for privacy to approve with confidence.

Budget pacing, ownership and reporting

Budget planning begins with value: what a qualified inquiry, a site visit or a won customer is worth, how many leads your team can follow up quickly, and which areas and audiences come first. Daily budgets are then paced across the month, with attention to buying patterns around paydays, the long Christmas season, Holy Week and other holidays when response times and demand change. Overseas campaigns are paced to the viewer's working hours rather than Manila time.

The account belongs to your company, opened in the company's name and billed to the company. I hold a manager login that can be switched off from your side at will; nothing inside leaves with me. Google pays me nothing, nor does any other platform.

Reports show what changed in the business:

  • qualified leads, site visits or proposals and won deals by campaign, area and audience
  • calls, chats and forms compared side by side
  • what each sales-ready lead cost next to what such a client is worth
  • search terms excluded, tests running and next steps

FAQ

Questions About Google Ads Philippines

It depends on the audience and the service. Professional and B2B offers often perform best in clear English, while consumer services may connect better with Taglish. I test variants and judge them on qualified inquiries. Filipino and Taglish lines come from your own staff or a Philippine partner who uses that register naturally.

Yes, where your offer suits them, such as property, education or family services. These campaigns run separately by country, with schedules in the viewer's time zone and landing pages that explain how buying from abroad works. Results are tracked apart from domestic campaigns so each audience can be judged on its own.

The tap itself is logged for diagnosis only. When an agent opens a real conversation, it goes into the CRM tagged with its campaign and is graded. Graded chats, plus any later sale, are then uploaded to the ad account, which teaches automated bidding the difference between curiosity and intent.

I can plan and manage them, but both carry extra conditions. Google has country-specific requirements for lending products, and property advertising has local disclosure expectations. I design campaigns within those limits, with final wording cleared by whoever handles compliance for you.

No. Cost depends on your category, competition, areas, audiences and landing pages. We agree a trial spend based on what a good lead is worth to you, and after it runs, the CRM shows what such leads truly cost in your market.
